Sony Cybershot DSC-RX100 VII

The RX100 cameras are extremely versatile once you master how to use them.

Why you would buy this camera?

It’s a great compact for travelling, especially if you know how to use it’s multitude of advanced features. You’ll be able to leave your DSLR at home and still have the power of this little point-and-shoot to take amazing high-res photos. Bonza!

Is it comfortable and practical?

It’s designed to be small rather than fit snugly in your hand. If you get tired of holding it you can slip it in your shirt pocket with your handkerchief.

Samples

I don’t have any samples from the VI, but here’s one I nailed using the Toy Camera mode on the old RX100 Mk II. “Tilt Shift” 😊:

Serious about travel snaps?

If the GR ii wasn't good enough, the GR iii refines the range one step further... assuming you don't want an inbuilt flash.
